This is exactly it. It is supply and demand in a "player" driven market. This is also why items are able to be listed for 2 weeks at a time and furthermore you are able to cut the prices as you see fit. Honestly, why would someone want to undercut themselves and take less than what they could have gotten? For instance, recently I sold my mechanic DVD. I had it listed for 200 favs for a few hours, but then decided to cut it to 175 to see if I could get a bite. I did receive an email "offering" me 150 for it. Considering I felt that was a decent deal, I lowered the price to 150 and sold my DVD. Both of us were happy with the sale.

I understand your frustration with what you call greed. However when someone won't budge on a price, that is their short falling and you need to find someone else that will sell the amen for a decent/going rate price (which there is always someone that will do that).

But Henny summed it up perfectly in one sentence. "You don't like it, you don't have to buy it."
