But on another note, he says 11,500 people shot in america, he agrees with that claiming 70% are from gang shootings, leaving only 3500 innocent people shot dead, in the uk with tight gun control 35, with a 0.07 rate of intetional shootings leaving 0.24 innocent people shot down a year, the figures speak for themselves surely? Drunk driving kills 11,000 people a year in the US as well. Let's ban cars. After all, same logic as banning guns. People are the commonality in that THEY make the choice to drink and drive, or shoot someone. The car or gun is just the tool.

Yes but the difference is that drink driving is already illegal (well over here it i) and even one proof of drink driving you lose your license, however its too late to take away a gun from a murderer by the time they've killed 1 or more people

murder is illegal also right? why not take the cars away to prevent drinking and driving?

Seeing a man driving all over the place and swerving is alot easier for the police to stop and pull over rather than a member of the public with concealed weapons

I just wanna say this... Why do you need semi autos? Surely if its one man trying to shoot up the cinema he can be shot with any gun and it dosent have to be the latest technology of assault rifle?

there are many reasons, people collect guns, people love to go to out to shoot targets etc, protection, there are only a small few % of people who use them illegally
