The gun was sold legally its the reselling that was a crime. The reseller is the accessory because HE sold them to someone knowing the intent.

Maybe the media wont touch it ( even though they just did) is because there you have an armed former security guard who did nothing. Was he actually there? Any witnesses saying they saw him there gun out ready to strike but hesitated?
