oh without a doubt, but this concerns assault weapons only unfortunetely.......and lets face it guns in general wont be banned in the US anytime soon, even if they did itd probably take 100 years to notice a difference - but the whole arm people with assault rifles to protect yourself is just stupid. reminds me of the eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind saying.

i bet i could go to the cinemas with a damn kitchen knife and still manage to stab down an impressive amount of innocent unarmed people....

the real actual issue here is the paranoia that seems to exist in the us.... but pumping more guns into the masses wont make things better

yeah as I remember the "batman movie shooting" the guys semiauto jammed up and he killed most the ppl with his shotgun and handgun? If you ban assault weapons, this shit is still going to happen just with different weapons. then what? - cuz ppl are killing with shotguns instead lets ban that now. then ppl kill with knifes and swords so lets ban that? our society is fucked up, people are beyond stupid.

you have a mentally fucked up kid so you take him to the shooting range and teach him how to shoot and make guns readily available to him? nice parenting!

If you ban assault weapons you only take them out the hands of lawful citizens. if someone is that fucked up they feel like shooting 20 6 year olds they are going to find a way to get an assault weapon legal or not. they will save up a month worth of checks and buy one or sell/trade their car for one. banning assault weapons isnt going to stop this stuff from happening, they will get them illegally or just use different weapons.

Agreed, when 20 kids gets mowed down like they did, something has to change!

yeah its a tough situation. probably is no real fix to this problem. even if they guy doesnt have an assault weapon....kids stand no chance to defend themself vs a person with shotgun or handgun. its a massacre either way. and like dem said all guns wont be banned in usa its just not possible. even if you do = ppl still get them regardless. our society is fucked up.

is this what they mean when they say there is a price for freedom?
