I dont feel the need to own an assault weapon, I feel I can protect my family with my 12 gauge. If someone breaks in my house its going to be who shoots first not who has what weapon. But we have the right to own them just how it always been. Some ppl collect stuff just for recreation and the love of them. Personally I dont see many practical uses besides war and killing ppl. But some ppl believe in that apocalypse shit and stock up in case zombies take over? lol

I wouldnt be heart broken if they banned assault weapons, but dont think it will happen. Plus even if they do it wont stop crazy ppl from getting them and killing others. Even if they cant get automatic weapon they can get a shotgun or handgun and do just as much damage.

like howie said though, you dont hear about near as much shit up here like that....canadas gun laws arent really that much stricter here, we can own hand guns, shotguns, rifles with a permit....just not automatics

ive thought about it, and i can honestly say that ive never ever known anyone who was shot, or shot anyone else besides for my buddys in the forces

Agreed, like I said earlier, its our Governments Fault for letting it get this far!

chicago is a battlefield, if i lived in a bad neighborhood, you bet i would want to make sure i was armed enough.

well that comment says alot about the usa in general i live across from detroit and i no it is bad there but a half mile across a river stuff is way different what has failed in the usa that canada a direct neighbour hasnt had happen i have nothing wrong with the usa but why so different from here ?

you can go to any city and buy a pistol for a hundred dollar bill out of someones trunk. think thats gonna stop because they make it harder for you to legally purchase a weapon?
