YoungLord remember when hip hop was a revolutionary art form? Remember when the lyrics in a song actually hit home and penetrated your soul until your heat paid attention? Remember when even the club songs had a deeper message and artists were diverse and were real ARTISTS? I can honestly say that I hate the current state of hip hop. Instead of expanding, we are killing our own music we created to empower ourselves. Even Weird Al got better flow than 90% of the cats in the music industry today.
