Plus we PAY someone to spy FOR US, right? That's the point of it! Otherwise make a free option to spy yourself where you can get caught..

You pay to spy on them, and they pay to find out who's spying on them. Both people end up paying, Glad this is getting some good feedback.

Yeah but my point is the way it's set up now, the reason for the fee to spy is because we're hiring someone to spy for us. So how can we get caught? It's illogical. Maybe you can attempt to get information out of the spy with only a percentage of a change he'd talk. Otherwise I see no point of spying, you spy not to get caught last I checked. The fee I pay should protect me.

Well maybe the way it is now should be changed if this were to be implanted, Perhaps a lower fee like 500 or something per level of the person your spying on (not sure what the formula is now for spying) and you do all the dirty work.

Or how about there are say 2 diffrent options, You can pay someone todo it (cost more) or do it yourself. (Cost less)

If you pay someone todo it you have a lesser chance of being caught than if you do the work youself.

If you can spy yourself I think it should be based off both users speed, if you're way faster than another you should be able to spy with ease without getting caught, if not you get beat down n sent to the infirmary much like mugging. In any case if you can pay money to see who spied, i think the amount should be pretty steep to discourage it so that not everyone will both (not like the information they're getting is so sensitive anyway)

Don't like this idea at all.

Spying should be secret. I spy on people all the time.. just out of curiosity. 

'Wonder what amenities that guy has..'

'Hmm they're buying favours for people, let's see if they've spent any on upgrading their own cell first..'

'Does this guy have a better fight cell set-up than me...?'

And plenty of other reasons, sometimes just @ random.

I wouldn't want to have to justify myself each time i spied because the person got an 'event' telling them about it.

I agree with this. You are spying as to not get caught. I mean if I were to spy on a leader of a gang just to be curious as to their set up and stats they would get upset and come after me. Personally not a huge fan of this idea. People spy cause they are curious....for the most part anyways...
