Btw spain Germany england etc You forgot the mighty ROMANIA its their Patron Saints day too!!  I didn't realise St Paddies day was a US national holiday! Probably because so many moved their during the famine.  My family wanted to emigrate to America, the ships captain drove once round great britain dropped them off in East London told them it was America!  Apparently that happened a lot..lol

Gumbo, it's celebrated in a lot of countries.

St George's Day is celebrated by the several nations and cities of which Saint George is the patron saint, including England, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Greece, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Macedonia, and the cities of Moscow in Russia, Genova in Italy, Ljubljana in Slovenia, Beirut in Lebanon, Qormi and Victoria in Malta and and many others, also in Kosovo and Albania.

I just didn't post it, cause that would be a giant post like this one.

   Everybody lies.

St George is the patron saint of England. He's the one that was supposed to of slain a dragon.

But because its not Irish, so it isn't celebrated with quite as much drinking...   people that don't live in England won't really hear about it

Originally posted by PauloLage I wasn't supporting that idea. I didn't even knew about the holiday, and apparently it's celebrated in my own country? Don't think so. If that was a yes, you shoud also go with the following, since they're comming soon.

Earth Day is April 22, 2010 (Thursday)

Mother's Day is May 9, 2010 (Sunday)

Memorial Day is May 31, 2010 (Monday)

Father's Day is June 20, 2010 (Sunday)

I'm not serious.
