Without drugs in America (and there dealers, Yes) how many CO's, PO's, substance abuse counselors, police officers, etc.... would be out of work right now. With the decline of the auto industry, it is the Federal Bureau of Prisons that is keeping middle America alive. Just look at how many jobs Marion, or the ADX in Colorado has created. Seriously Lou, I'm starting to think you may have a personal issue with drug dealers but without them America would be pretty close to a third world country right now. Real talk

not these day's,they dont care who lives or dies,as long as they sit on their ass and make money.(dope creates job,are you for real?)

Yes im for real. You mean to tell me TSA and customs can find a bomb in someones shoe but can't stop millions of tons of illegal narcotics from getting in the country? The so called War on Drugs was nothing more than a plan for economic revival because the US government could forsee the coming of outsourcing and the effect it would have on the uneducated. Corrections is one of the only professions where someone who has never been to college can make more that 40k a year legally. It needs no special skills other than the willingness to treat fellow Americans like animals in a dog pen. Look into any town with a Federal prison nearby and look at the state they were in before the prison moved there. I personally hate drugs, they killed my sister and tore apart my family, but I came to realize my anger was misdirected at local distributors who have no international connections. If every street level and mid level dealer in your city went to jail right now, would the sale of drugs in your city stop? And if these are the people responsible why doesn't it?

I do realize a prisoner doesnt live for free. So does the US government which is why they have started to privatize prisons. i never said it doesn't cost us taxpayers money, but it does create jobs that can't be denied. I also never said it was a good or positive thing, but our elected officials have come to see it as a necessary evil which is why the flow of illegal drugs in this country hasn't stopped.
