He used a gun because he was being attacked. Just because someone is stronger than you doesn't mean they have the right to assault you. You could say that he brought a gun to a fist fight, but you shouldn't say he brought a gun to ANY fight because there's no proof that he intended to get into a fight with the boy at all.

because there was a string of burglaries in the gated community and he never saw the kid before. did he profile him because he was a black kid walking thru a majority white gated community - im sure he did... im sure there were stereotypes goin on in his head. unless he went up with his gun pulled - i dont think he had any intentions of brawling or shooting the kid. that's what the prosecution had to prove. they couldn't. It's a touchy subject... those are the facts tho. You can say he wouldn't be dead if zimmerman aint follow him, but it's a 2 way street... he wouldn't be dead if he just walked home
