The AMERICAN DREAM is a 30 minute animated film that shows you how you've been scammed by the most basic elements of our government system. All of us Americans strive for the American Dream, and this film shows you why your dream is getting farther and farther away. Do you know how your money is created? Or how banking works? Why did housing prices skyrocket and then plunge? Do you really know what the Federal Reserve System is and how it affects you every single day? THE AMERICAN DREAM takes an entertaining but hard hitting look at how the problems we have today are nothing new, and why leaders throughout our history have warned us and fought against the current type of financial system we have in America today. You will be challenged to investigate some very entrenched and powerful institutions in this nation, and hopefully encouraged to help get our nation back on track.

pretty nice production, though I'm not sure I agree with the message. Banks make money on loans and investments. We saw what happened to the stock market and we saw what happened to all the people who took out loans they couldn't afford to pay.

Sure, some blame can be put on the banks, but they were loaning at a time when the market was healthy and could (or thought they could) afford to take some risks.

Everyone seems to want to bypass the fact that PEOPLE took out loans they could not repay. PEOPLE decided to live beyond their means. Greed and poor decisions on the part of the PEOPLE of this country is also to blame, but most people ignore that because it points the finger right back at themselves.

No one forced you to max out your credit cards buying shit you don't need.

Yes mu this is indeed true, I too would have little sympathy with people who got themselves into debt that they cant pay back. But a seperate issue is a private company (the fed) having the ability to controll the money supply. Do you not think that representitives elected by the citizins should controll the money supply of a country, rather than a private company ?

Damn,

Is it too late to take the Blue Pill so I can forget all this (Retorical Question). Easyas this production gave me a lot to think about. I thought I'd be cannon flodder by now but that didn't happen. Hell in 2003 they were throwing around money like crazy.

Fresh out of Trucking School I remember various people from Trucking Companies and Sales Lots offering loans to people with less than 100 hours on the road to become owner operators. I though it was a total scam since my bull shit detector was stronger then. Later a lot of people went bust when fuel prices shot up and the economy tanked.

I'm wondering if they put Thomas Jefferson on the $2 dollar Bill on purpose since it is not a popular Bill.

This is probably why they put Wilson on the $100,000 bill the largest US demoniation.

So now what do we do?

Everyone should sell everything they own, buy a shack, stash it up with Ben & Jerry's, a wireless connection and live in Prisonblock.

Good One,

Either that or Morpheus could start dealing out the Blue Pills.
