Originally posted by Mufasa pretty nice production, though I'm not sure I agree with the message. Banks make money on loans and investments. We saw what happened to the stock market and we saw what happened to all the people who took out loans they couldn't afford to pay.

Sure, some blame can be put on the banks, but they were loaning at a time when the market was healthy and could (or thought they could) afford to take some risks.

Everyone seems to want to bypass the fact that PEOPLE took out loans they could not repay. PEOPLE decided to live beyond their means. Greed and poor decisions on the part of the PEOPLE of this country is also to blame, but most people ignore that because it points the finger right back at themselves.

No one forced you to max out your credit cards buying shit you don't need.

Yes mu this is indeed true, I too would have little sympathy with people who got themselves into debt that they cant pay back. But a seperate issue is a private company (the fed) having the ability to controll the money supply. Do you not think that representitives elected by the citizins should controll the money supply of a country, rather than a private company ?

Yes, that is a much larger issue, one that I was not actually aware of before this video. I did some more poking around on it ( http://www.the7thfire.com/Politics%20and%20History/Federal-Reserve.html ), but haven't really found a solution per se. Still good to be informed I suppose.

lol @ the gold machine. I could see someone getting fucked up after leaving the machine. That guard isn't going to follow you to your car.

This info does shed some light on how those damn infomercials are always able to have "legit" special edition coins and shit (last night it was a color boat and statue of liberty that stood up on the coin).

As for infowars, I like info, but in the past I've found that site to be a bit over the top on conspiracy shit.

Yeaaa they really kinda stretch and pull to make alot of things "Fit" with em

as for the federal reserve and the banking system, there is already a few bills in place to start limiting how much money they can actually produce, the hold on them is getting alot tighter then it has been in the past, which should start cleaning up this national debt and etc, certain business markets are continuing to grow, people are starting to spend more and the economy is slowly getting better

now if every state finally legalized marijuana for medicinal use, i think all in all, we'd be out of debt extrememly fast, look what its done for cali in just 15 years considering they were on the verge of financial collapse and are just now starting to grow, they still in pretty deep but the economy over there is just now picking up, and the legalization of marijuana really helped them

That is just the political spin the put out on the news, the living standards of the average person will continue to decline untill the power of MONEY CREATION is removed from private business, and the assests of the criminals behind the scam recovered.

I have to strongly disagree. Once again you're blaming these organizations for the poor choices of PEOPLE. Live at or below your means and you should be fine. It sounds like they are indeed a problem, but they aren't killing jobs, so they should have no real impact on SMART people who don't do stupid shit.
