I think its a good feature the way you cant walk into other NPC's apart from the ones you are doing the quest for i dunno if it was like that last as i wasnt around for the Christmas event..

Do you need a protected Christmas tree to get protected amenities from the gifts and stockings...or will a unprotected one provide protected amenities aswel?
