First of all I want to say to Hanako I am sorry about your loss. Here are the things I am grateful for:

I am grateful for god giving me another day to be alive

I am grateful for my family and friends (including all you PB ones) without friends and family I would not be the person I am today

I am grateful for my grandmother. Now you may think that falls under family and it does but without her all the things I have had to go through in life I would not have made it. She is the woman who was there for me when I didn't think there was a single soul out there. She is one amazing lady

im thankful for my father. he died when i was six as a result of him getting shot during a drug deal with an undercover blood gang member (my father was crip) and i didnt see him much because he was always locked up but him dying taught me not to make the same mistakes he did, which made me the man i am today

im thankful for my uncle jerome (RIP) who acted as a big brother to me. he never let me make the same mistakes twice and he never had much but he always made sure i had enough. he was the only uncle i have that every did anything for me because my dad's 2 brothers never did crap for me or my mom even when they had good jobs and where making good money. but my uncle jerome showed me how to make something out of nothing and played father figure whenever he could

last but not least im thankful for my lil brother who never let me stay down. whenever i get the chance to bring him to stay with me for a while i do because he keeps me in my P's and Q's. i taught him not to make bad mistakes and how to avoid problems so when he see's me heading the wrong way he lets me know. i hope i live long enough to see him mature into a grown man so that i will feel safe leaving him as the head of my family
