Originally posted by JoeInBelize I think updgrades such as cell size and backpack slots need to be super cheap in NJ and SQ. It has become a paypaler's paradise in here, and it kind of sucks... Yes, I'm a paypaler, but now I know hard it is without it...

A couple things Mu could do to balance out hoarders and dupes... Put a cap on how many amenities one individual can hold. Let's say 3x the amount allowed in your cell. For instance, we are allowed 2 Jack O' Lanterns, so we should only be able to have 6 max in our inventory. Or 3 of any given dvd or console.

This way, we don't see a couple high level players holding onto like 8 Scream 4's and only selling them for PayPal, and we don't see new dupes hoarding them.

Besides, I haven't seen Bootleg Joe in a couple of events now... and even when he did come around, he came around in the common areas of the maps, and not in each respective prisons. I like that, as well, but Bootleg Joe should come around the yard truly randomly, and not just for special events. That, with the addition of the 3x max we can have in cell of each amen, would lead to a more fair and balanced game, in my opinion.

interesting suggestion bolded above. Kind of like a salary cap. You can go over the limit, but you only have a certain amount of time to list them on the market before going into some locked down mode. This would force a lot of common amens back on the market for cheap and discourage higher levels from hoarding them to up sell for favors. I mean if you are in a prison cell, you really wouldn't have space to store up 45 wooden chairs, 15 air purifiers, and 12 dirty toilets anyway. I dunno...

you would have say 12 hours to get enough stuff on the market to be back below that limit? I don't know, like I said, it would add a little strategy to what amens you hoard and which ones you don't. I guess the 14 day limit could present a problem because then everything would get so cheap to unload it and then prices go right back up.

I like the idea... just trying to figure out how it would work in practice...
