Here is a link to part of the website of the bank of england, the main central bank in england. Here they admit all the things they have been accused of i.e. The Fact that a small elite group (9 people) control the econemy completly independatly from government and that they create money from thin air then lend it out with intrest attached ect. The MPC has nine members, who serve fixed terms after which they may be replaced or re-appointed: the governor, two deputy governors, chief economist, executive director for markets and four external members.
