Has anyone here played Homefront? Or Bodycount? Those were some pretty damn good games.

Homefront was definitely controversial. Many games make up countries, or at least fabricate regimes, but this game straight up uses North Korea, with Kim Jong Un, and it's compelling. Citizens get murdered and thrown in mass graves, and it brings up the question of what you would be willing to do, how far would you go, to save your country. And the fight doesn't end with the game, the game is just a single battle. It's like Homefront is a call to action, about how things go down in our country that seem fine, but are really stepping stones to destruction. I don't even want to look at the statistics out of fear that the answer is over 20 years, but when was the last time we took a governor, senator, representative, even mayor, out of office to replace them with someone better equipped to do the job? The founding fathers put so much work into ensuring the continued liberties of citizens of the U.S., but people act like if someone does something wrong, it will be fixed automatically.

NO, assholes like Romney make deals with corporations that cause the deterioration of this country (like the plan to put an oil pipeline through the Midwest, yeah, fucking genius plan bro). It's despicable, and I wish I could do something about it, but in all honesty, I haven't the connections to enact changes.

I know this is a video game thread, and I'm ranting a bit, but video games can hold meaning. They aren't always mindless shooters (like the shitty call of duty games, re-skins and promises of innovation).

Oh, and Brock, I don't know how you got kicked from APB, but since you brought it up here, that game looked like the shit, and I was sad when it failed. Personally, I loved the beta and figured that it would definitely be my favorite game. Had it done better, I wouldn't be here. Too bad.
