this much is (semi) true. Apparently, he bought an amenity from someone who listed it for someone else. The only problem was that the person that listed it forgot to leave NJ before doing so. Most of us would have returned the amenity, but this kid's got balls.

hmmm i wonder if this is the situation that i heard about...

if it's regarding the Horrible Bosses, then yes it is. I got both sides of the story, and they matched up perfectly. It wasn't like this kid was F5ing the amenity page, he just saw the event and seen that it wasn't purchased, so he bought it. The original seller only listed for $10,000. I remember seeing the event too. It's deleted now, but I specifically remember seeing "XXXX posted Horrible Bosses for $10,000 in New Jersey!"
