WTF is the Point?
PsychoS...so nobody wants my xbox for 125 favors?
RickyMi...
steve its fools out there still buyin em for that, juss let it sit longer.
PsychoS...
there used to be a time when i knew the value of everything, but it's been a while. I usually guess if there's nothing else up there, then keep lowering it if nobody buys. I wouldn't just let something sit for more than 2 or 3 days because I HAD to get a certain price for it.
course there is a little bit of greed in it too, don't know how anybody could argue different without looking like a fool.
RickyMi...
of course everyone will follow suit. Shit if im down to my last xbox reg or somethin imma try n squeeze at least 100 favs out of it. If not den ill juss lower it everyday by like 5 or somethin. I aint mad at the hustle at all, juss wish folks would open they eyes a lil.
JoeInBe...That's because Junkyard Jim was handing out favors like crazy, not to mention the overflow of DVD's by Bootleg Joe. Give it a couple weeks, and the prices will start dropping again. I've been tracking the cost of amens, and it's gone down drastically since the extended quest. It can only go down from here, unless Mu introduces another extended quest like the last one lol
This also means we should take advantage of the private favor sellers; once they run low, prices are bound to go up again

Something's only worth what one is willing to pay for it. If they're still selling for that much, it means it's worth the 100 favors to someone.
If you don't want to pay the insane prices, don't. If they stop selling at that price, those who aren't brain-dead are going to realize they need to drop the price. Those who can't keep up are going to waste favors listing them high. Let them lose.
Rolex watches go for tons of money, and people complain that they're so highly priced. Those who can afford them and want them will buy them. Those who don't won't (but continue to bitch anyway, for some strange reason. Go buy a fucking pink disney princess wristwatch with flashing lights).
Demand brings up prices. Because people can now spend their favors from votes on amenities it's easier for them to just wait a few days to account for the high prices, whereas before you would have to spend money to make up for the difference.
