Ok, so it's been a couple years since I have gone bike shopping. With that said, last I checked a 1,000 cc bike from either Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda or Kawasaki ran about 10k-11k. Now I went just price shopping and the damned things are almost $14k on all of the big 4. What's the kicker is that the Hayabusa used to be the expensive one along with the ZX 14. Rightfully so seeing as they have 400 cc's more of displacement. However, they are now cheaper than the liter bikes.

Can anyone explain WTF is going on? 400 cc's more engine and they are cheaper than the 1k's? Seriously baffled by this one.

Still though you would think with a bigger engine, larger bike IE more working parts=more time and money to put it together that each of the 1300's would be more expensive. I swear it was like looking into bizzaro world.
