Not saying they weren't smart and couldn't have predicted something, but to say "because that's when their calendar ends" is kinda silly isn't it? The calendar in my office only goes to the second week of 2011 (presumably so I'll buy a new one), but I doubt the world will end then either.

Every calander resets at certain points, end of year , end of century ect, remember the whole fuss about how all computers would crash in the year 2000 lol

All this talk about how religions are similar are related , and using this to discredit all parts of them all is silly.

I ask you to read what Jesus says in the king james bible , and then tell me what he said , why it is dangerous to todays modern society with its power structure in politics and organised religions ect, then tell me another prophet or whatever who brought the same message.
