I went to a Children of Bodom concert in Philly like 3-4 years ago. I lost both shoes in a mosh pit. I found one, and then I had to step off to the side because my other bare foot got stomped on a couple times.

Maybe 3 songs later (15-20 mins?) some dude comes swimming through the crowd at me, yelling something inaudible over the music. He was waving something black in the air, looking straight at me. Turns out he found my shoe!

How he knew it was mine, I'll never know, but I'm glad I didn't have to go home with only one shoe that night.
