Okay okay... this isn't a dumb... give-me-a-prisonblock-cellphone-application thread... so please don't take it there or i will look at hits...

I have some basic questions... my dumb ass internet provider has be down for like forever in my city... and hmmm I are getting that sorted... but i am looking at getting one of those smarty pants phones... so that i can play from it when this shit happens and once i am finished study and back at work... what i need to know... is which ones are good for this game... some debate might be good...

I have seen threads about good browsers and stuff... but... cause i am such a nooblet with techy stuff... i am wondering if someone can explain it simply for me...

additonally... i kind of need some idea of how much data i might need if i am playing from my phone... i have no idea what it uses to play this.... i need to know that to figure out what kind of plan to get...

Now i sincerly hope no one gives me a heap of shit for this thread... i get a feeling that maybe some might come... i can't keep an eye on it... because i have no flipping connection from home at the moment and have to check in from school... so i hope people can keep it on track for me... if not... hits are an option... thanks guys... looking forward to some education on the issue...  hana x

Smart phones basically are three types, although I knooow someone will disagree

1) Blackberry RIM

2) Apple iPhones

3) Google Andriod Phones

These work the best IMO, I've used both iPhones and Blackberrys and they both run great, I'm not sure if there was an issue with using blackberrys on PB though.

You'll need a data plan, when I got my blackberry the bill was racked up because of data usage, so get an unlimited plan for that and you'll never worry about it, but for me that was like 30 dollars extra. But since you're in another country I have no idea about their cellular companies, I know in some foreign countries it's just a hell of a lot cheaper than here.

hmmm yes different country is tricky... that is why i was wondering about how much data to get... they say the new iphone has some glitchy thing... i don't get that... what does it mean...

The new iPhone is badass, whatever bugs it has (and every new smart phone has bugs when it comes out) would be fixed in firmware updates they automatically send out, kind of like how you're computer gets updates. That's what smartphones are, mini computers with their own operating systems and applications.

I have no problems using my BlackBerry on PB but I would recommend a iPhone.

Out of Blackberry storm, and iPhone I always like my storm, because it was easier to use.. the only advantage I saw with the iPhone is the massive app store and shit. Plus their new phone has a camera on the front so you can video call Now that's cool. So if you DO go with iPhone go with iPhone 4, that's what I'd do

if your country has verison wireless. then you should get a google android

ahhh see... good and simple to understand... a blackberry is a kind of lolly down here... so that kind of confuses me...
