What's a protected amenity worth to you?

We've got this code in place to protect amenities, and the only thing holding it back is that we're not sure on it. Here's why:

  • We're not sure of the amounts. What IS it worth to have an amenity protected? We've already isolated rare from common amenities and scaled the costs appropriately (it IS favors in most cases), but really, what's it worth?
  • If everyone has access to protecting amenities, will it once again render raiding as fairly useless (other than snatching cash and items)?
Right now, the system is set up so that to protect amenities you either spend favors or there's another option for more common amenities... Question is: what's it worth to you?

It will depend on the price, the higher the cost of protection the less things people will be willing to pay to protect. If the cost is too low though then people might want to protect everything, and I think that could hurt raiding. If it cost 50 favors to protect something thats worth 100 favors Im not going to do that, but i think it could be worth it with some of the higher end ammenities.

Then I guess we're priced right... It's higher than all mentioned here, but that's good. You'll REALLY want to protect that amen then.

what about people with no paypal and cant afford to buy hundreds of favors whenever they feel like it though? with this game now its almost a must to have a paypal but i agree you should have to pay something for them to be protected. id say 30 favs for each amen.

There are lots of ways to earn favors.

I think you should just make more dogs and stuff that keep the raiders away and just let us eventually get protected amens. Thats just my point of view tho.
