I noticed for instance the karate kid, marmaduke and more can be played with 360 core while nightmare on elm street requires elite and cannot be played on the core console. Why is that?

think cuz they r newer dvds after the core came out and nightmare b4 they came out

That should be changed I think since they are all dvds. Now it's not unitary.

All the dvds released after the day the consoles came out (excluding the dvds released that day) can be played on all consoles.

Mu said somewhere it was an oversight, but isnt going to fix it for the earlier dvds.

Why not fix it? It means you have to have an extra player in the cell.

Well I know you well enough by now to know that, without any special reason, you just dont do some stuff.

Thats also why I asked since I don't see any reason not to do it but I will put this one in the "because" basket.
