bosses
I was thinking of a boss where a group of people attack him, say a gang, or maybe just a group where one person initiates an attack and invites all his mates. it would have a shed load of stats and would go by the average stats of all people in the attack. the people attacking can fight this one and only boss, and if they give up then they can't be invited again. obviously the boss once defeated, would give money, experience, stats, permanant boost to stamina or nerve, or once gangs are implemented a certain item that would increase certain stats for all members. what do you think?

maybe if you hand over a certain amount of drugs between everyone he becomes so intoxicated his reactions or "speed" falls.

It would be cool if we could get it worked in with the combat system. I cant think of any way to do that, though. Combat right now is instant, so there would need to be a change in the system to get it capable of having other players join in after the battle is initiated.

they could make it that when a players stamina runs out, hes in the infirmary and then he can fight again.
You ran out of stamina and were hospitalised for 15 minutes

What I mean is, the battle instantly happens the second you hit "attack". The little video thing isnt the battle, it is just a log of the battle. The battle is over the moment it starts. Notice, you can increase or slow down the speed of the battle. However, the outcome remains the same.
I suppose if there was a group of people that grouped before the battle, it could work. It would still be instant, though.

i know that, but it wouldn't be instant id they keep getting hospitalised for 15 minutes, the individual fights would be instant but the overall battle wouldn't

I see what you are saying. But, that would be boring because any boss can be beat by any level player with any number of people, as long as you are persistant...

thats the idea though but the higher level bosses might require a higher totallevel/stats from the players involved or maybe a limit on the amount of players usable. different ones in each prison

Maybe if you had a reset function like in WoW, where the boss resets his stats back to default if you dont take him out in time.

only problem with that is different timezones but it could still all work and promotes a bit more team play
