i play left for dead online and on my friends computer its smooth and not lagy at all , but on my computer its slow ass hell and lags a shit load , what do i need a graphic card or somshit  im not good with computers

well first off lower the grafics cause that helps sometimes second of u might need a video player card update because its a newer game

i downloaded it last christmass on steam. and the assholes i got this computer said that the gateway dx was a gamer computer and left for dead works like shit but on my freinds it worked as smooth as playstation

the problem might not be with ur computer but with the website

steams pretty reliable though dog. i think i might just need the graphic card shit so it just makes it smoother. idk where do i bring this shit to best buy,

what i would do first of is unstall it then reinstall it and if that doesnt make it better then do soem online goggle searching

Aight, here is what I need. Push start (windows circle). In Win XP, click Run. In Vista/7 just type this in. Type in "dxdiag". It will ask you if you want to make a log or some such. Hit yes.

What I need from this report:

Graphics card name (Display Tab)

Video Memory (Display Tab)

Processor type and speed (System Tab)

Total Memory (System Tab)

Also, which operating system do you have?

If you want an easier method, just give me the exact Gateway model number and Ill check it out myself.
