Cheers Apollo, now how long does a football game last?

rugby is 2 halves of 40mins a piece, with the ref being able to stop play for a short while... so whats that for football

I read a little not much in this thread and comparing who is tougher rugby players or NFL players doesnt make a lot of sense.

They both have very tough athletes. Rugby players have no pads and NFL players do because their players are 3 times the size. Nobody would be able to take hit after hit from a 400+ pound monster without some kind of padding have you seen some of these guys? They are fucking huge. The pads are there becasue of the size difference between postions.

Personally you can't really compare the two. Each sport is played completely different. Of course I prefer American Football but that is just because I am a fan. Never really was able to understand Soccer.
