hip hop is a culture. not a business, rappers like wayne etc have just followed a movement that pac started, making "mainstream hip hop" in other words pop. i have no idea what wordsmiths are lol, but i do know that pac made 80 tracks in 3 months, that is not art my freind, that is mass production,(suge knight is to blame). i respect big L because he wouldnt even sign to a label unless his crew could too, that is hip hop. fuck wayne hes terrible. pac was good, but sold out

Dude How could you talk about Pac like that!, He didn;t wanna make his music for ur ass to call him a sell out, All ur opinions about hip-hop just find a way to drag me down feel less positive, u know what hiphop is about being positive! That's all on the Real, , Rhymeing Equals Actual Life. Real? Get it? That's my input any other input is based on those thoughts that are all around us, the people, Hiphop is big.

Hip-Hop and rap are 2 different things. To say Pac wasnt hip-hop is absurd. Pac spoke for the people who had no voice in society. If you think "Dear Momma" & "Brenda's got a baby" isnt hip-hop you tripping!
