ok answer this one
if the say there is no air in space then how is the sun burning? fire HAS to have oxigen to burn and it is constantly burning

31642013hydrogen is the molecule that activates all other molecules... if that explains anything.... and theres hydrogen EVERYwhere.

Strictly speaking, the sun does not burn. At least, not the way that, say, a wick on a candle does. The small fires we're all familiar with are created by a chemical reaction betweena fuel, such as oil or coal, and oxygen. The sun's writhing surface is the result of "a nuclear reaction that fuses hydrogen to form helium," saus Jerald Navratil, a physicist at Columbia University
31642013ahhh yes this explains that.

good old copy and paste and not being in collage means no APA and no sites and sources
31642013yeah I was wondering why it was spelled 'mostly' correctly!

note that the sun is releasing energy in the form of light and note that light does not need "air" to be seen so technackly speaking the sun is not burning but realeasing a energy that is soo warm that it creates light good question though
