one on one. in the prime. kobe vs. jordan
JPISTOLINOno question jordan would have taught kobe a thing or two...
As a Bulls fan my whole life of course I would vote for Jordan. Reason behind my voting other than the obvious being a Bulls fan. Jordan brought the NBA up to a whole new level. People did watch basketball on TV before Jordan era but when he came into the game and made a name for himself and the team, it seemed everyone knew what time the game was on and watched to see what Jordon would do that night. I give props to Kobe, he has taken the Lakers to the end game quite a few times but he will never be Jordan comparing what each has done for the NBA.
Keep in mind new players that come into the NBA are not compared in chat to being like Kobe, they all say is he the next Jordan.
Is DRose the next Jordan? I guess only time will tell.
for real? MJ and it's not even close.

halfbakedMJ hands down

man stop it......
the real question is who would win a 1 on 1 tourney out of all active players in the league to date.

This is where what Jshank said comes into effect. You CAN be an inferior player and win a 1 on 1 game. With that said, I don't think Chris Paul would be able to beat someone like Lamar Odom for the fact that all he has to do is back em down and score. So this is actually not as relevant. It is were similar to the topic as Rajon Rondo vs Chris Paul, then it'd be a better discussion.
