The main people who will live are Carl, Rick, Michonne, Angela, and Glenn.

Maggie might commit suicide, Carol will definitely die, probably by suicide. Axel could live, but he's probably just going to be left behind. The other black dude might take up an important spot. Governor will die. I think Daryl will live, but he wasn't in the comics so he's not necessarily safe. Merle will likely either die or take the spot of another dude from the comics, Abraham. They have similar characters. Hershel will die, and the little blonde bitch has no chance.

Ok, Carl's going to be the silent guardian, the watchful protector, the dark knight. Nah, but seriously he's going to be doing some pretty beast shit. Then he'll get his eye shot out, lose his memory, and be sad all the time. Rick and Michonne go crazy and talk to inanimate objects. In the comics, Andrea has a love affair with Dale, and when he dies (he lives quite a while, and becomes a bit of an old bastard) she starts wearing his hat and talking to it. Rick talks to Lori through a disconnected phone, confirming his insanity. Then Rick fucks Andrea and that's about it as far as the currently released comics go.
