She's still alive in the 17th volume, and the show is about 4 volumes in, so she's fine. One of my favorite characters.

In the book, Andrea never got lost. Rick, Glenn, and Michonne went out to find the helicopter and got captured. Then the governor found the prison. Lori got shot running away, and fell, crushing the baby beneath her. So the baby's not going to have a very long lifespan, unless the show deviates from the storyline soon. It is kind of bullshit that she wants to have the baby, even after all of the shit she's been through in that fucked up world.

koryn you do know that lori just died right? so she cant crush the baby falling on top of him and dale has been dead since season 2 ur comics have been greatly deviated from so far

It's not actually that much difference. Dale just switched places with Hershel and Alan a couple of times, but the main story remains the same. I know Lori can't crush the baby, but it is going to die, no doubt.
