I read the thread about the trading system a long time ago. And I know you say in the main sticky on this forum not to post anything about trading systems. So I guess I am just asking to be put in isolation but please reconsider. Forgive me if this idea would not work as I have no knowlege of programing online games.

My idea is not quite the same as an escrow system but it is similar. Say you had worked out a trade with someone in the forums. You would then "invite" the person into a trading page. This page would give you access to all your money/ items/ amenities. You would select your item and/or money to put on the "trading table". The other person would be able to see what you have put down and be able to do the same. Then after both partys have accepted the trade there could be some kind of fee.

This would iliminate the problem of people storing items or not being able to pay the cancelation fee, because if you leave the page (say the person doesn't really have what they said or they are not cooperating with the trade) there is no fee and there was no items taken away.

I have been cheated numerous times by people accepting a trade and then not upholding their side of the bargain. I am not part of a gang so there is no people I can "trust" for trades and maybe that is part of my problem. But please give my suggestion or another trading type system another thought.

Thanks Mu

PS O and a spell check on the forums would be nice too!

Ya any bets on how long I'll be in iso?

I think its a big problem though. The system right now is wide open for unethical people. And its not like people can snitch on the person who screws them because anyone can say anything about anyone so you wouldn't know whats the truth.

or google chrome, or firefox, there are several browsers!

and this idea will never see light, not just cause what you said, but because Mu doesn't like the idea of trading systems, he thinks the chances of marketplace are more ravishing! there is more chance and there is more to risk, it makes the game balance out itself! so one type of group of people don't reign 100% superior than the other! Higher LVLs need LOWER lvls to do runs! and Lower LVLs need Higher LVLs to protect them and get them items and amens they can't get on the prison where they currently reside! this idea goes both way. just look at it lie that don't look at your ideas as they simply benefit you for your needs, look at it as in how it will benefit the whole PB community!
