mumu don't show up here much anymore, pretty much handed the reigns over to Tommy/Ajja(I think she left), and someone else.

im with neo! Most people moaning cant even hustle to fill a cell with the amenities available. The events are suppose to be a bonus. It gets old when they become expected. Things need to stay fresh.

My concerns are with the online numbers and i hope staff are doing their best not to let the game die. I would love to hear from tommy or someone about how healthy prison blocks stats are? what looks good for a game like this, in terms of users active, money spent etc.

I think the hard part about bringing new players to the game is that the game has been here for 3 years, so there are very strong players. To be a new player, you would have to drop a lot of cash on the game to get a full cell, and would have to spent a huge amount of time training to catch up. I think for the most part, nobody wants to start a game to be an "also-ran". So the older a game gets, the harder it is to draw people in. PB has also lived longer than the average MMORPG which has a lifespan of 1-2 years. The staff can't exactly "reset" PB and start over either, because current players have a lot invested in the game.

the flaw in this game is the fact that it's SO statistically based, with very little skill involved, therefore I agree with foxman, the game is at a point where it's futile to try to get to the top from low levels without dropping lots of cash (or slowly creeping up without dropping cash which would literally take a year), training NON stop, and hope you don't piss one person off who will end your game.

the game needs a redesign to go on, a more skill based, less statistical based game, with many varying factors.

the low level prisons have VERY few active people in them, basically the only ones left are the high ballers, who invested years in this game to start, formed friendships with people here, and just chillout here in their down time, not competitive players who want to get to the top, that's long gone.

game gets even older with nothing new in 3months. It doesnt always have to be events. A joe sighting or even just the old days of a new amen for a holiday would bring people back. Nothing though can only hurt. The possibility of new gang features just wont bring back anyone or bring in anyone new

i have a feeling i know what you mean, but im just curious as to what you mean more skilled based rather than statistical? care to expand on that?

It could be an event that just gives you good items. Not to flood the market with great amens.
