sad that this guy faces just 21 years in prison under Norway's maximum sentencing laws.

There gotta some kind of exception for this idiot, and if ive understood it correctly the 21 years thing isnt carved in stone..

21 years it he maximum sentence under norweigan law. they can hold him an additional 5 years at a time if he's still deemed a danger to the public, but how many times will that happen?

I was told that the maximum may be 21 years, but life sentence is possible if they consider him a threat to the public - something that they have to evaluate each time a prisoner gets released; so technically he can get 21 years but theyd still be able to keep him him locked up for god knows how long, not to mention this is Norways biggest disaster since WW2..

other than that id be surprised if other inmates dont kill him within a year or two

1 year later im bumping this - he got 21 years (+ some isolation time) for killing all those people, i read somewhere that thats 100 days / each victim he killed.. 100 days? thats messed up.. silly norwegians
