Bidding items/paypal market
people might start placing bids in the middle of the night... though you could always specify a max bid like on ebay
or you could do like some auction sites do where if its not over by a certain time you have something in place where it temporarily closes the auction until the next morning?
UnsignedI dont even know if this is possible but it might be so, I always thought of having a market where the seller places the item for sale at a set price on the market with a box you can click buy next to it.
After the buyer clicks the buy button and everything is finalized the item goes to the buyer and the money goes to the seller with the game taking out a transfer fee of a certain % of course this way the game makes money to keep growing on every transaction.
isnt that what we have just now
Unsignedlol with the head shakers
I meant real cash. Please tell me how the game getting a % of in game cash helps improve it? Please pay attention and read before posting next time
the game does that now, it takes it when you list it though
I think he means like a paypal bidding system in which a small percentage of the sale is set as proceeds to the game.
UnsignedI know what your saying maybe I should have used the word paypal to explain better?
Hopefully this makes more sense. Say I wanted to sell my fridge for paypal lets say $5 I can list it for real money say on a list of items for sale through paypal. Someone sees the item on the list of items that are for sale from everyone and wants to buy it so they click the buy button and fill out there paypal info to finish the sale. Once their payment is accepted the item will automatically be transfered to the buyers cell. I dont know if theres a way for the money to be transfered to someones paypal through the game after but you could take a % out as a transfer fee so everytime an item is bought and sold for real cash it still makes the game money to keep doing what they are doing.
Maybe Im not explaining it right? I dont really know a lot about how that stuff works which may be part of the problem too, Guess you could compare it to our market for game cash but instead using real money. If someone understands that and can explain it better please do so lol

in that case, nah. I really don't condone the selling/traffic through PayPal thing. A lot of risk for the buyer, plus it makes n00bs feel like they HAVE to spend money to get ahead.
