Ever thought of (for a price) allowing players to change their characters name? Just a thought.

Im sure this has been discussed before bro but if im correct it was turned down as you could Mug , Attack and Raid players and then go and change your name and they will never be able to do anything about it. I do think this would be a problem too but i might say it would be a possible thought of mine but if i were to agree it would have to be a limit and some sort of list of previous names as to the name change was only because you didnt like your last or you thought of a new name.

Suppose you could only change names when changing prisons? For an additional fee when you move you could get a new name & a new start at a new prison. A second chance to start over and maybe not piss everyone off.

Yeah i understand what your saying but im not sure for the name change and the reason of changing it just for players that has caused trouble but im open minded. The bad thing about when going to another prison is someone from Arizona could be waiting for you and then just as your gonna get there you change your name also im not so sure as the hitlist would be not worth its weight in gold as you could just move prisons but i will wait to hear from more players but the general idea sounds good of name changes but its just getting the right way of doing it.

Perhaps if you have a hit against you, that is the price you have to pay for the name change when you move prison. A percentage of that could go to the person who placed the contract.

If name changing were enabled, it wouldn't affect hitlist or anything else. If I had you on my friends or enemies list, you'd still be on the list under the new name.

In that event name changing would be pretty much useless.

Perhaps a "notes" thing could be added to people on your lists so you wouldn't have to remember why they are on the list or just a little reminder to do something, even without name changing it would still be handy i think. A little message or event to be sent to you when someone on your list changes their name as well?

Not really, sometimes people make mistakes, miss an "L" from their name. Cough.

give people a limit of 3 name changes a year or something along those lines (there should probably be a limit no doubt).  and youd have to change it for a price of course (favors most likely).  anyway, im down for this whole name changin bit, not that i dont like my name but i remembered a better one i use to have
