Face off at 55 Wall st
I think you should get paid more, however, anyone who works 40 hours a week should be able to afford the basics, i.e house , energy ,food and water and mabye have a little left over.
that really depends on yur definition of work
shop assistant, bar tender, call center , laborour all the jobs that currently empoly alot of citizins but donr earn them enough to get by.
Death_H...That's generally the case if you don't live in the capital city or an expensive area. Though for some reason people on benefits etc feel they have the right to live in an expensive area of town and wear the best clothes etc...
Thats generally not the case in the Country im from anyway. Average wages is £7 - £10 per hour , thats about £250 a week if you do 40 hours , then u pay 20% tax. The Average Small House Price would be between £70,000.00- £100,000.00. Most bankers know that a person can only afford a mortgage at 3x their annual salery , which means in my country the average worker, who does 40hrs per week cannot afford somewere to live. Then take into account the rising cost of food and energy......
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ANYBODY..
Once again a stupid response. If you truly wanted to awaken and elighten people, then when 3 people basically asked WTF is this protest about, then your first response would have been to lay out what the protest was about -- not spout off about people being in the dark and liking it.
Don't worry, I don't ban people for being stuck up conspiracy-theorists.
Like most situations, there isn't a black and white answer. Some people will feel one way while others will feel another. The truth (or solution) is usually somewhere in the middle since rarely do people think objectively -- they base their opinions on what matters to them personally based on their situation and experiences.
In an ideal world sure, but there's an economy for a reason. You do something more in demand, or with higher margins, you make more. I'm not sure if the goal of the protest you posted is for equal wealth distribution, but if it is, I don't think that's the answer. That's a quick way to stifle innovation and ambition.

I think he may have meant QUID

The jobs you and your girlfriend do are probably of benifit to the society you live in. You deserve a place to live , healthy food, energy and to have some disposable income left over for entertainment.

And how exactly do people plan to reduce the price of accommodation? Anyway... what is wrong with renting somewhere? Not everybody has to own a flat.
