I generally don't have a problem with hackers too much. They tend to just do it for fun to big companies and governments rather than actually fuck shit up properly. I also totally agree with the likes of Wikileaks.

HOWEVER the fact that Lulzsec claim they plan to release details of ALL UK residents (by releasing the details of the nationwide census) really fucking pisses me off. Just because some spotty fucking kids want a laugh, millions of peoples safety is compromised. What about the people who have hidden from a violent ex or things like that? They can now get found.

And my old fucking mobile company will know where I live (did a good job of making sure they didn't) and send fucking bailiffs round as I owe them money!!!!!!!! Wankers

well, at the risk of homeland security reading this and putting it on my permanent record...

good is definitely not the word for it. its evil being used to combat a greater evil. in their video they say 'we are not terrorists', but i never have to go around saying i ain't no terrorist, why? because no one thinks i am, whereas obviously a lot of people think they are.

freedom of speech is the root of all other freedoms though, so its worth fighting for, and you can't fight for it while getting fucked up sittin around da house all day. And as Sally Hemings bf said: The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.

I like what annoymous is doing , i just hope they are who they say they are.

Certain influencial groups have wanted to take controll of the internet for a long time now, their ideal is that the internet would be like tv, with different channels of pre-determined content, and to have a site on one of these channels you would need a lisence, to get a lisence you would have to adhere to certain rules which would close down alot of currentlly running sites.

People want freedom, online and off, to convince people to give up their online freedom ( hosting websites without a lisence ) these groups need a good excuse, and what better excuse than the age old , tried and tested , give up your freedom for security.

Is this incodent enough to convince people to give up the current open neutral online environment for a more secure closed internet policed and lisenced by big business and government.

You decide ......

I personally think this shit is bad. And if one of these groups pisses off the US and makes it look like someone else did it it will cause a lot of trouble for someone as the US is taking cyber attacks very serious now

The UK is now talking about possibly making a cyber attack like a military attack and hence needing reprisals. War with China?
