Here in Boston,I got plenty of beer,10 bags of halloween candy I could eat and just leave the lites off Wednesday nite....no generator....but I think the Sheraton's got 1...gl mid-atlantic peeps..hopefully much ado about nothing

NYC issued evacuation orders for about 350k people and are closing mass transit 7pm tonight, looks like Mayor Bloomberg took a hint after telling folks last night that it wouldn't be that bad.

Someone was saying that they didn't want people evacuating, that people should stay in their homes because it could be dangerous to go outside. I don't remember who it was, but that was some stupid shit. Of course it could be dangerous to go outside. It could be dangerous to stay inside too.

i think they waited too long to make that call, because now it is getting too late. folks will ignore it anyway i'm sure

im over here in the east(NY), the climate hasn't changed drastically, a bit more brick the usual. but surprisingly no rain till this point.

we're expecting to feel full effect on Monday and Tuesday.
