Tigers are different from snakes! Come on. Tigers have HUGE ranges. Snakes don't. Like the difference between keeping a shark or whale in captivity (that travel 10,000s of miles a year) versus a fish that doesn't travel much (ie. NOT a salmon).

Would you keep a cheetah in captivity? No. A cat? Yes. A condor? No. A budgie? Yes. Not that the latters are perfect but they are better than the formers. Dogs need a lot of area but can be (and should be!) walked every day - you can't walk you tiger... not without a law suit or missing arm. lol

there are laws and things people have to follow in order to have certain exotic animals...the people you just explained are stupid if they are just keeping them in small apartments and not the correct tanks, cages, etc...if people take the proper steps and have the proper training to handle the animals they should be allowed to have them

i have read more stories of dogs attacking their owners so they should be banned? its the same thing...a dog bites a human they get put to sleep and this chimp attacked a human and he was killed...i think if you want a chimp it should not be house trained(have a nice cage for them in my opinion is the best thing) or if you take that risk of a house trained chimp then you live with the problems it may cause...and you should havce to have proper training to have an exotic animal and should know how to handle them you would prob realize that animals are animals not humans and problems occur...a few instances should not ruin it for every one that could handle a exotic pet...and if it was the owner in this story that got his face ripped off i feel the chimp had a reason to....how would you feel if you were getting pimped out to tv commercials and photos and prob only got a few damn bananas

Im quite sure the chimp got more then a few bananas. The owners raised it from an infant and he was 14 yrs old. I f you read the article it said the chimp had gotten Lyme disease an as with Lyme disease went ape shit (no pun intended) because it can cause psychosis.

As far as dog attacks go it depends on the breed and upbringing of the dog. Some dogs are attack dogs and shouldn't be expected to be docile at all times(ie pitbulls rottweilers etc).

a few individuals should not be able to ruin things for the rest of society...i feel that people should have the right to choose their own fate based on how they want to live their life...you know what comes with the decisions of everything you do things are going to happen
