The votes are good for visibility. That's how I found PB. but to get listed on most of those voting website, they charge a listing fee. The way that voting helps is by bringing more players to the game, and hoping that a small percentage of those players actually donate to the game itself.

Idle Media (makers of PB) is also making money by selling advertising on the Meebo bar. Thank God it's not all the time; I frequent some websites where their Meebos are FILLED with advertising. And that's why Respected Prisoners are able to disable the Meebo bar, because they're already supporting the website.
