Reduction of basic attributes....
... Again I have to disagree (maybe its because I am an Engineer.. they always have to disagree...
)...
I don't see how it is possible to reduce peoples max. gain with different percentages... since people have very different max. gains ... even within the same levels....
The change that was made today (the reduction in max. gain) is the same for everybody I was told... and the change is the approx. 32% reduction in max gain for everybody (if I am wrong and the percentage reduction is not the same for everybody then my idea also doesn't work)....
Looking backwards (and talk about how much time people have spent in the gym in the past or how much they have invested in their cells etc.) doesn't change the fact that reducing the max.gain by 32% will increase the training time by 32%... which is an advantage to the higher level players.... since now it will take even longer to catch up with these people... (if the difference is for example 10 mill. in strength under basic attributes between the high level player and the low level player then this will now take 32% more training time to train than before the change)...
...by reducing the basic attributes for everybody (only a one time reduction) by 32% (or whatever the number is).... then this training time disadvantage will disappear... without changing anything about how strong the players are...
If a player is 20% stronger than another player at the moment... then he will still be 20% stronger after the 32% reduction of the basic attributes...

Feel the Power of a Viking Warrior....Pointless thread. Gains have always been determined by your stamina and the 1:1 train rate for the prison you're in (i.e. if you trained in Putnam you'd gain more than you would if you trained in AZ with the same stats). The ONLY change that happened today was the 1:1 ratio was tweaked to make room for other prisons to slot in.
If anything at this point, lower levels have an easier time catching up to higher levels, contrary to all the theories being thrown around.
Get your stamina up and you'll be right back to the gains you were at before /thread.
It doesn't take away peoples hard earned stats (I wouldn't suggest it if that was the case... I have spent quite a lot of time in the gym myself to earn my current stats) since its a percentage reduction... the basic attribute numbers might be lower (by 32%) but compared to other players there will be no difference... since everybody's basic attributes are reduced by the same percentage...

Woot woot... bigger cell please in new prisons...

You trained using 203 energy, gained 374 defense and 17504 exp
mu i have not changed anything in none of my cells,iv lost at least 35 to 50% on trains.
the eds has went up and not available in jersey and putnam,no blunts in any prisons.
so is this what you mean by slots for new prisons?cause im confused.
people would still be the same percentage ahead (in stats) than they were before the training changes. otherwise this is a VERY good update for previous power trainers. eg: folks with stats in the tens of millions will pretty much never have to worry about someone over-taking them. at least within the next year.
Anyways, mu knows where he wants the game to go so no point trying to persuade changes to new changes lol.
Personally I don't give 2 shits.. just carry on playing the best you can. Protesting gets you nowhere; you're a prisoner remember. not many rights for prisoners.
Yeah that was actually my (only) point by making this tread ... to give a suggestion on how to remove the additional training time percentage caused by the reduction of peoples max. gain... without "touching" anything else...
As Mu write about adding more stamina in our cells: Guess this will have the same effect since this will bring us right back to the gains we were at before the change.. and therefore no additional training time....
By the way:
I have no doubt that Mu (of course) knows where he wants the game to go... and I also expected that it had something to do with the future prisons .... (I like that is prisons and not prison..
)....
I wasn't trying to change or criticise what was done today... I like changes
Cheers...

DemOlitionMany of you are missing the point of this thread, it would be exactly what we need.
You hear words like "base stat reduction" and you immediately think its a bad thing, considering the changes today, a base stat reduction for everyone would be a good thing considering the gains we're getting. Its a simple matter of compressing the gap between the ones who already gained alot of stats.
I was trying to explain to people how it will be tough for someone, lets say a level 20 to reach up to the stats of a level 25+...
Even if theyre both given the exact higher/lower gains, and even if they both train for 10 hours each every day, it wouldnt change the simple fact that the higher level already gained tons of stats before the change happened.
Good one Slumdog.

DemOlitionIn other words, this change would counter todays earlier change.
No loss, no whine (if you truly understand it)..

PsychoS...it makes no sense because EVERYONE has already made the gains they've made using the same training methods. It's not like some people were given a training advantage over others. EVERYONE has had the same chance, so why punish people that's biggest crime is they found the game sooner or trained harder?
If I have 100mil strength, and you have 10mil, reduce both by 32%
Now I have 68mil strength and you have 6.8mil
Yes, the percentage difference is the same, but you're 28.8million closer to me, how is that fair?
