If anything at this point, lower levels have an easier time catching up to higher levels, contrary to all the theories being thrown around.

Get your stamina up and you'll be right back to the gains you were at before /thread.

If i understand what the warden is saying here, its that there will be new prisons that will be comparatively easier to train in than Arizona will be. That means midlevels like me (15th) will probably have an easier time catching up. Previously once you hit 9th your gains were going to be on the same scale as a 29th all other things being equal. So I think we are seeing something that will help equalize long term. In the short term it sucks to see lower stat results from training, but be patient this will all turn out to be a positive for the game.

Exactly

If I have 100mil strength, and you have 10mil, reduce both by 32%

Now I have 68mil strength and you have 6.8mil

Yes, the percentage difference is the same, but you're 28.8million closer to me, how is that fair?

Since its a percentage reduction of everybody's basic attributes you wouldn't be less strong/weak compared to other players... would still be the same... pure math... so completely fair.... since its only a one time reduction to equal out the difference in additional training time...

you're looking at it based on percentage only, which you are correct, wouldn't make a difference. but you're not thinking about the overall numbers. 32% off my stats would be a lot different than 32% off someone like Bubba for example. Taking a percentage off penalizes people who have already put in the work, and rewards the ones who haven't by making it easier for them to catch up.

Lets say your basic attributes are 5 times better than Bubba's ... for example 50 mill. vs. 10 mill... (just numbers).. delta = 40 mill. ... and Bubba is gaining 1000 as max gain.. then he would have to train 40000 times to catch up with you....

If he upgraded his training cell so that he would gain 1500 as max. then he could reduce to 26667 times in the gym....

With the new change the delta is still 40 mill. in basic attributes ... but his max gain is reduced by 32% so now it is 680.. therefore he has to train 58800 times in the gym... 32% more time in the gym to catch up with you (if you were not training at all)... of course he can also reduce that time by upgrading his training cell ... but still he would prob be gaining less than the 1000 he gained before the change....

If the basic attributes are reduced by the same 32% (or whatever the gain was reduced) then your basic attributes would now be 34 mill. and Bubba would have 6,8 mill. in basic attributes... new delta would be 27,2 mill.... but your basic attributes will still be 5 times better than Bubba... and your skill will also still be X percent better than his (the X depends on how good stuff you have in your cell... but the X is unchanged compared to before the gain change)...

Bubba would with his reduced gain of 680 have to go to the gym 40000 times... to catch up with you... which is exactly the same number of times as before... so no advantage for him or disadvantage for you... same same... catching up would not be any different as before... unless Bubba decide to upgrade his cell with better training stuff... but that would not be any different than if there had been no change and Bubba decided to upgrade his training cell...

Since Mufasa now told us that increasing the stamina (compared to before the change) will bring our gains closer to the previous gains then that is another way to do it....

... and then of course there is a big joker about what will happen when a new prison will open... ;-)

Originally posted by hanako I mean seriously... that is like saying to an athelete... hey... you are too fast... i think that to make it fair... you will have to wait at the start line for 3 mins before you can start running so that it is fair for that overwieght kid at the end there who just started training to be an athelete... i mean come on... where is the fucking logic in that...

That is not what I am saying... if you reduce everybody with the same percentage then you are neither weaker or stronger than before compared to all other players... yes your numbers are lower than before but that is the same for everybody else... no training time wasted.. the athlete will still be the athelete and the fat kid will still be fat

But anyway lets stop this tread here since Mufasa just posted a great tread about what is actually going to happen... two new prisons...

da only way to make shit fair is too decrease da gain once U reach a certain lvl.

da highes lvl is wat? bluesky @ lvl 31 (well mos of dat kame from muggin) so lets take hard trainers, like psychosteve & otha always on da top trainers list.

lets jus say for example : U stop da max gain wen people reach lvl 26. dat way dey stil kan get an equal return form trainin as othas did wat lvl exactly to stop da max gain? dats to B determined.

but a decrease for evry1 wont change anything kuz dey stil had da chance to get higher returns period (compared to noobs) so to kut da max gains at a certain lvl is logically correct !
