http://www.theblaze.com/stories/will-banning-guns-stop-homicides-stats-from-england-and-australia-show/

"Following a 1987 shooting in the British town of Hungerford, the Brits enacted stricter controls. And in 1998, a near-total ban on gun ownership followed another mass shooting. Were these moves a success?

Within a decade of the handgun ban and the confiscation of handguns from registered owners, crime with handguns had doubled according to British government crime reports. Gun crime, not a serious problem in the past, now is. Armed street gangs have some British police carrying guns for the first time."

Our guns keeps our country safe from foreign invaders... Foreign countries know that 80% of the general American Population is armed so army plus millions do the math Guns are a necessity for today's environment. In China same day as the school shooting guy stabbed 20 elementary school kids... its gonna happen the difference is what our country is gonna do to make it a safer enviorment. Placing a permenemt security staff good option, arming teachers is controversial as they can explode themselves but you can never fully protect people from insane acts of violence; the best that can happen is be prepared

yes its stil possible to kill a bunch of people without GUNS, explosives can be made from pretty much anything, look at what that norwegian psycho Breivik did with some fertilizer crap...

butttt still, the simple fact that theres guns everywhere in the US dont make the situation any better. people cant be trusted for shit.. basically you fart the wrong direction and therell be someone to shoot ur ass for it lol.

psychos that wanna commit mass murders will always be able to find ways to do it

Simpleman..everyone feels horrible about what happened in Newtown,Ct....and by everyone I mean pro gun and anti gun folks..not 1 group has the corner on their hearts going out to the families....but by infringing on peoples rights and giving the government more control (or actually blaming the government like you did) is not the answer.

Guns are outlawed in England....so people stab each other.....if some1 wants to kill some1 then they will find away guns or no guns.....however i would say it would be harder to walk into a school and stab 27 people than it is to shoot them.....i don't really get why every man and his dog can own a gun in America....i have never even held a real gun let alone fired 1......if you own a gun and then pull a gun don't be surprised when you get shot.....my weapons are my fists and if i can't sort it with them....i lose its that simple.....Americans should learn to fight more....every1 nowadays in England does some sort of fighting, cage fighting.grappling, boxing,Kung Fu you name it.
