The US is a free country, which means tolerating certain things even if they aren't something you support. Abortion, porn, guns, death penalty, etc. You may like some or none of them, but living with them is a price we pay to call ourselves free.

i hear you but what if we say that banning them is the first step in the right direction. banning guns out right is madness, i think everyone would agree to that but assault weapons are maybe where the line needs to be drawn? i dont know the ins and outs of your laws/rights but on a basic level going without this small percentage of weapons you can own legally, would it be that much of a hardship to give them up?
