i dont think so, if person busts into school with shotgun/handgun he still do same amount of damage. even if they do ban automatics - the killings continue. then what they ban shotguns to lower more killings? its still going to happen no matter what. make them illegal - these crazy out they mind ppl will still get automatics, if the going to kill 20 kids what the fuck they

care if the get caught buying an illegal gun

So I guess we all should just chalk the last shooting up and move on?

yall arent as mentally fucked up as americans it seems then, its not about the type of gun, its about the people! look up central and south american countries....they have way more murders per person then usa its not even close to being close. look up africa, europe and asian countries have similar problems. just more press here. check out honduras, brazilian and mexican countries. you must not listen much if you dont hear how much murders going on in these places

here you think usa is most dangerous? lol check this article

http://www.businessinsider.com/most-dangerous-cities-in-the-world-2012-10?op=1

little snippet ....

Earlier, this year, a Mexican think tank — the Citizens' Council for Public Security and Criminal Justice — released a study ranking the world's most violent cities in 2011, and the results were astonishing.

The 20 most violent cities were all in Latin America.

The USA had some alarming scores too, led by New Orleans at 21.

Other dangerous cities were located in Africa. None of the top 50 were in Europe and only one was in Asia, despite great unrest in those regions.

The ranking is based on murder rate per capita in 2011.

I have been reading that in UK where guns are banned that gun related crimes are actually increasing. The bad guys have guns where as law abiding citizens dont. Not much fear to break into houses knowing you have guns and they dont?
