On the subject of the Titanic, a big cruise ship went down last night in Italy (Costa Concordia). Boat was only a few years old and was very large. 70 or so people are still missing. Sounded like they had a very difficult time deploying the life boats with the boat listing to the side as bad as it was, a lot of people jumped and swam ashore. What would happen if this was in the middle of the ocean??

Well my point was if "something" was to happen, better example is cruises that pass through the fjord's along the western shores of Canada. Boats sail along narrow passageways and not a whole lot of civilization nearby.
