In my opinion Iraq wasn't "part of the gang" ie America, Europe ect, and like Iran showed no itentions of wanting to become part of that group , Old Saddam Towed the line for a while and he was rewarded for doing so with weapons and funds by America/Europe, but he started to think that he didnt need that support and he could run his country his own way so the leadership and support was be removed and replaced with people sympathetic to the cause, conform or die. The oil is just a bonus.

BubbaKushbut the only reason for the war was "nuclear weapons" but their was none so i guess the only thing that they went to war for was oil then

I didnt know about that, So u mean they can hold him without any evidence agenst him for 10 days? I would immagine that if he was guilty of murder or something like that he would face a trail of some sort, no ?
guilty or not they have to release him they cannot arrest or jail somone or kill them once they have been captured
watch from 3 minutes onwards

Im sure it had nothing to do with the genocide or the overall opression of women or the opression of non suni citizens or the invasions he led in the 80s and early 90s or his willingness to use mustard gas and other banned chemical agents... its all because he wouldnt conform... riiiiiight.. i never supported the invasion of iraq... but come on....
When he was doing the genocide in the 80's and 90's he was armed and supplied by the usa and europe, he was working for the gang back then .

It sayed "not enough evidence to convict him so he was released" does that mean if he was caught red handed he would be trialed and convicted ?
lol no we were at war with iraq in 90-91 and besides that it was actually the russians arming them.. they used AKs and T90 tanks not m16s and abrhams
